It is our honor to organize the 62nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Artificial Organs (JSAO 2024) on November 14-16, 2024, at the Light Cube Utsunomiya, Tochigi, Japan.

We extend our warmest invitation to you to join this exciting conference, which will be held as a Joint Meeting with the 30th Annual Meeting of the International Society for Mechanical Circulatory Support (ISMCS 2024) on November 13-15, 2024.

The 62nd JSAO annual meeting will deliver a stimulating program featuring leaders who will present the latest clinical results and innovative research and development covering a wide range of important disciplines regarding Artificial Organs.

The theme of the Joint Meeting is “One Team for the Artificial Organ in the Future.”We would like to discuss the current status and issues by inviting people from various fields related to artificial organs, such as physicians, medical professionals other than physicians, artificial organ developers, researchers, and government officials, to take a step toward a future society of artificial organs.

The Tochigi area, including Utsunomiya, has the World Heritage Sites of Nikko, a national park with Kegon Falls, and Lake Chuzenji, as well as many hot springs in the area. November is also the season of beautiful autumn leaves.
